Frequently asked questions

I already have GPS trackers, is it compatible?

Yes. EZTrack is compatible with all trackers on the market via CSV import or REST API. If you use Traccar, integration is direct. We can also develop a custom connector.

I already use Odoo, how does it integrate?

EZTrack is a native Odoo 19 module. It installs in one click and integrates with your existing Fleet module. Your vehicles are shared between both modules.

Is my data secure?

Each client has its own database (full isolation). Hosting is on OVHcloud in France (GDPR). Access is controlled by security groups with User and Manager roles.

How is the distance calculated?

EZTrack uses the Mapbox Directions API which calculates the actual road distance, taking real-time traffic into account. It's not as the crow flies. The result is reliable for accounting and mileage allowances.

What happens if I have a lot of GPS data?

The module automatically manages volume: after 90 days, GPS points are aggregated (1 point/minute instead of every second). After 1 year, raw points are purged but trips and distances are kept. Everything is configurable.
